The European Biosafety Network is delighted to feature in Social Europe with an op-ed co-authored by Josh Cobb and Patrick Jahn, on the gap between EU law and ward-level practice in protecting nurses from hazardous medicinal products (HMPs).

Drawing on survey data from over 1,000 oncology nurses in Germany, the piece examines implementation of the EU’s Carcinogens, Mutagens and Reprotoxic Substances Directive (CMRD) ahead of the European Parliament’s plenary vote on the EMPL/SANT report, expected on 14 September.
